What Students & Families Can Expect in the Upper Grade Classroom
Welcome to our classroom family! This is a place where every student is known, valued, encouraged, and challenged to become the very best version of themselves — academically, socially, and spiritually. We strive to reflect Christ through kindness, respect, responsibility, and a heart for serving others.
Students can expect engaging lessons, meaningful projects, hands-on learning, and a classroom where curiosity, creativity, and growth are celebrated. I believe every student is capable of success, and I encourage them to work hard, persevere through challenges, and take pride in giving their very best.
Families can expect open communication, encouragement, and a true partnership in their child’s education. Students are expected to complete assignments on time, meet project deadlines, come prepared each day, and take ownership of their learning.
As a community, we’ll build a classroom where students are inspired to learn, encouraged to grow, and equipped to make a positive difference in the world.

Mrs. Cindy Kowski
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and I love teaching in an Adventist environment. Bay Knoll School is like home to me and I strive for my students to feel at home during their hours here at school.
I am Cindy Kowski and I have been working/teaching at Bay Knoll School for over 15 years. I always wanted to be a teacher and was so excited when the opportunity arose so many years ago to reopen up the Pre K/K class at Bay Knoll School. Since then, I have moved from teaching in the Kindergarten class to teaching the upper grade classroom.
